the instruction files are really not helping :{

i've tried making a directory under my root dir called vbportaland put all files from public_html in there but no luck

any help would be good

Since vBPortal has it's own support forum you'd have much better luck posting there.

plus it's not that hard, just edit the config.php file to go to the right path and such.
