trouble with vbulletin installation.. is it php's fault?
Okey I'm new to this, I just recieved my copy of vbulletin 2.0.0 the other day.
I used a precompiled version of mySQL and php from this site http://www.entropy.ch/ Yup I'm using Mac OS 10.1.5 now. However, when i run the install.php in the admin folder and click next, the address changes accordingly BUT the page remains stagnant. This is in IE 5.2. Any ideas? I don't think it's the vbulletin files that are at error. Anyone have any ideas on what to do? Thanks. |

Just out of curiousity where did you get your copy of vB 2.0.0?
|
Well I offered to help someone to debug/hack a site he has. More to learn about it than anything else. So he sends me an old copy of vB 2.0.0 and asks me to play around with it for a little while to get used to how it runs and works first. So yea... i haven't gotten to him yet give me a little bit more.

That copy of vB is illegal. If you want to use vBulletin you will need to purchase your own copy.
