This would be the greatest of all hacks, if there was an IM feature on the forums, where you could add members to your contact list, and send a popup message to them, it should also be able to be minimised into a little taskbar so you can read when on the forum homepage, if someone made this, it would definately be the best back on vbulletin

This has been requested some many times... it might be awhile before it is made... and what about the PM function? isnt that just like it? you could make a template edit for it and there you go.

admin version already exists.. you may want to modify its code to grant permission to everybody but as mentioned by its author, this may not be the best idea since it's not nice to browse the board with popping up windows all around..
