No update notification

Is there a way to turn that update notification in the AdminCP off?

you cant turn it off via Admin CP but a tiny edit does the trick:

Edit newreply.php and find:

sendnotification ($threadinfo['threadid'], $bbuserinfo['userid'], 0);

Replace it as:
