Avatar as URL link, which hack is best?

Hi,

I've have come from IB recently and would like to have my users only use URL linking to avatars, which hack do you guys recommend for this?

there are hacks that will do this i think. if you cant find them use this.

frist go to the cp and make a new profile feild. you will need the number of this new feild. upload a blank image to your vB image folder. then

in fuctions.php find:

under it add

this can also be done by a database query, but i do not edit the database if i can find a work around with the php files. so there ya have it
