Totally bizzare problem - subject filled in on reply
I have found a problem that's cropped up in my forums. When someone posts a new reply (NOT quoted) the "subject" field is automatically filled in. Not only that, but it seems to be grabbing random thread titles.
Since when replying many folks don't bother with a subject, this has resulted in many replies with random subjects in a thread. Annoying, to say the least. I thought it might be the last hack I installed, last10 (I use it on my forum index as well) but I backed all the way out of that and the problem remains. Does anyone have ANY idea how it's doing this? I've gone through the newreply template, even reverted it to the original, but no luck. I can't figure why it would do this. Looks like it may be something to do with the $title variable. Where is that defined? |
Fixed it. Grrr. Looked like an addition I made to the phpinclude template somehow jacked it all up.
