File Upload up to 20 Meg needed
Hi @LL,
our Forum is now productive in our intranet. But we need the ability to upload PPTs up to 20 MB. I have adjusted the files: my.cnf, php.ini VBulletin Options is set to 40 MB max size upload for attachments. PHP.INI extract: _________________________________________________ ; Safe Mode ; safe_mode = On safe_mode_exec_dir = /tmp ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ; Resource Limits ; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; max_execution_time = 600 ; Maximum execution time of each script, in seconds memory_limit = 120M ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (8MB) ; Maximum size of POST data that PHP will accept. post_max_size = 48M ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ; File Uploads ; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ; Whether to allow HTTP file uploads. file_uploads = On ; Temporary directory for HTTP uploaded files (will use system default if not ; specified). ;upload_tmp_dir = ; Maximum allowed size for uploaded files. upload_max_filesize = 40M __________________________________________________ _ my.cnf extract: __________________________________________________ _ # The MySQL server [mysqld] port = 3306 socket = /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock skip-locking set-variable = key_buffer=16M set-variable = max_allowed_packet=10M set-variable = table_cache=64 set-variable = sort_buffer=512K set-variable = net_buffer_length=8K set-variable = myisam_sort_buffer_size=8M log-bin server-id = 1 [mysqldump] quick set-variable = max_allowed_packet=32M [mysql] no-auto-rehash # Remove the next comment character if you are not familiar with SQL #safe-updates [isamchk] set-variable = key_buffer=20M set-variable = sort_buffer=20M set-variable = read_buffer=4M set-variable = write_buffer=4M [myisamchk] set-variable = key_buffer=20M set-variable = sort_buffer=20M set-variable = read_buffer=4M set-variable = write_buffer=4M __________________________________________________ _ The strang thing is, i had the problem, that in the beginning the limit was 2 MB. I adjusted these files and the limit went up to 10 MB. This was ok for the last 6 months. Now we have the request to have the ability to upload bigger files. Files up to 10 MB work fine. But as soon i go higher the upload goes on for some seconds and the the url changes to newthread.php and i have output on the screen like this: __________________________________________________ (????K?????$/G?R8 ?_\"????p2?n???R????? %??c???U\\X\"? ??BD ?????W?ub?z? =??^?P?r|???|f??o???$j?ם \' ?i@U?KƜ??R?Y??˱??ú]m]^?y~?^?E~\\???? ??p?U|?5a?<?\"??O,????Zr?&]W?([v?N(>?K?vj?u????\\??J?.;{???rm?Ax?$?\"wY ???Xy+x??? w???[{Ó???G݁ۖ???????O\"r?8????Ge???G?? ????W??;??w???}w?{~b?J? ?v?{?O????#:?d????w????h-x???Ï5G? m?Q4[?Ky???,4?T??)w?Z??R8j??d?DK???gF??k??2?3??r^? s?j?i)4 Y??!pc*zi???}?κ?q7??G???p??=6>3??rT??i?Ll}?? ?!?????1g?G?y??????????????????|?_??c???䤱m??2 5???Kh?\'M?m?{??ᝡ????#?~?Cx??ȓ???9ǁ?O??jB? GpP?l????JlO??XX3?X1?T6?T:????²? _________________________________________________ And this goes on and on. It doesn't stop until the IE crashes. Before having done the upgrade to 10 MB i had the error msg that no forum id had been specified. After setting the limit higher i have now this dump in the window. Can someone help me please ? Thanks in advance. Email: Georgios.Pamboris@hds.com |
