The Hack forum has so many hacks...

The Hack forum has so many hacks that you might want to consider creating sub-forums for those. The hacks could be categorized into groups such as User Control Panel, Forum Display, Admin Functions, etc. (<-- You'll need a better list than that!)

Something like this? :D

Exactly like that would work, only it should be in the forum.

y?, split it up more?, some wouldent know where to post their hacks. if you need it, the database is there

zachb 06-13-2002 06:36 AM

Hmm, seems very reasonable. I like that idea, it would be hard moving all the right threads into the right forum, but it would be worth it - it would be much easier for the users!

Umm, Whats the point in taking all the time to create the subforums and move all of the hacks when the hacks page alredy gives you the options you need. :p

thats the point im trying to make, spliting it up more would be to werid, when someone post a hack they have a option to add it to the database and pick the right place to put it in the database. no point of working twice as hard on soemthing thats already done.

I'm the same opininon as Anime and Takara.
The system is good like it is now, if you want a sorted hacklist, go to the hackdb

zachb 06-13-2002 06:23 PM

Yea, but not all the hacks seem to be in the Hacks section. This way every hack posted would be in it's category.

Takara 06-13-2002 09:43 PM

Its upto the person who created the hack to add it to the database. If she or he doesnt want to, there isnt much you can do about it. lol
