IP question

is there a way you could find out someones location from there IP address?

visualroute which does exactly this is a nice shareware..

For free solutions open a dos window and apply this command:
tracert pingaddress

Since it solves IP to host address while tracing, his host name (in the last step) will give you a great clue for his whereabouts
