Is there an update tracker available?

I've been looking for this function for vbulletin but haven't found it yet

an update tracker

a small program or js-based-page to track your fav. forum for new posts
it extremely usable in an active desktop

thnx for any feedback on this

There is a small subscribed threads/forums in the control panel which you can make a easy hack out of to put on the desktop. I'll make one within 10 minutes and post it up.

i do not own a copy of vbulletin, im a regular visitor of a vbulletin forum (beyondunreal.com) and i would like to see this function
or is this forum only for owners?
im sorry if that is the case

Steve Machol 06-08-2002 05:35 PM

Yes, this forum is for licensed owners of vB. Besides you really wouldn't be able to implement anything like this anyway unless you were the Admin of a forum.

ok, im afraid i didnt explain it right then

my request wasn't a mod but more an client-side application
but come to think of it, i believe the utility i use now for a different forum also makes use of xml output and i dont believe vbulletin has that available
i do know i wouldn't be able to implement but i do believe a lot of people would like to see option because it really is usefull
and if people want it, i believe admins would like to install it
