Hack to select style based on resolution.

Is it possible to select a style based on resolution of the client machine? I.e. if I set up two styles one for 800x600 and one for all larger, is there a way to write a script that will detect this and then select accordingly?

Honestly I don't even know if there is a way to find out what resolution the client is running at, but it was a thought.
