any of you out there think you could come up with something that would pool a random pic pooled from within a designated dir (including subdirs) - ie- /pics/.. (all dirs below)

using vblite or vbindex or something, have a forum that no users see, but would act as "news" above the news area, and picked a random picture each day, or other interval, or everytime someone came to the site onload=random...

anyway... food for thought :)

that would work for part of it... but i don't want a random logo either... i want it to choose pictures that will be of various events that users upload, plus inside of the forum -

My script does exactly that. It picks a random image on load.
It would be easy to adapt it to using some setting from the admin CP to tell it what folder to use, or to only use images whos name start with this or that, etc... use your imagination.
