How do you install a hack
 

Yeah this is a very stupid question however I would really like to install the Avatar As Link on my forum because the servers (apache) doesn't allow users to upload there icon to the forum. Doing this would enable them to have icons and save me the pain from having to enter in a URL to get there icon up. I am using VB boards version 2.2.5. How do I enter in the hack I have into the board so it allows it. Avatar As Link I downloaded it but have no clue on how to enter in the info for the hack.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Also does anybody know a hack so your users can have RPG stats by there name. Like HP/MP exp, etc.

but there's more out there, so do a search for "exp" in the finish hacks forum). ;)

its easier than u might think so dont let it scare you, just when installing, backup everything before you install anything "just in case"

and for newbies to it, just use notepad to edit the php files, most everything is "find this", and replace it with this, or put this above that,

its not so hard, the hard part is when their are problems like parse errors or whatever after u install

but those can be fixed
