Duplicate Posts?
 

We have a board with 1,850 forums in it and we need to post an identical message in each forum AND we need to have each of them sticky.

Foresight would have been better, but we're stuck now. :(

Is there a way via phpMyAdmin to enter a command (or a series of commands) to put that post in each forum and then to set some variable on each of them to cause them to be sticky?

Also, we've though about using Announcements, but we really want this post to be permanent thread in each forum.

It could be done but you would have to shut down the forums from any further posts/thread creating while doing this...

Actually, we are really about 10 days away from actually going live. So any thoughts would be appreciated.

So this is a fresh install? No posts or threads?

Actually, there are about 1850 posts. We had one post that we wanted as a permanent thread, so we posted it to each forum.........one by one.............That's why we're trying to find a way around doing it all again.

If I were you, I would post an "announcement" which will be posted in ALL forums and is sticky by default..
