Email Multiple users with the click of a link

Ok. I've realized if you want something done right, you need to be willing to ask for help every once in a while.

This one is probably easy, but for the life of I can't think where to get started.

This would all be easy if we had the ability to have people in multiple groups at one time.

I need to be able to email (or PM) Multiple People at the same time from a link or some kind of mechanism.

I use my site for my local community and we need to be able to email the Parking Committee at once but I have not figured out a way to do this.

Any thoughts on how I would do this?

Thanks for the help.

Anyone have any clue how I would do this or at least be able to point me in the right direction?

Thanks

i would like this ... it would be helpful to email by usergroup or username with the simple "Email User" function...

Multiple Reciepients for PMs would be good...

I would like to set up pre-defined groups and then be able to PM them all at once. Preferably be able to PM or Email them.

Email is my choice because users always check their email boxes more than their PM box... also sometimes users dont have the recieve PM option ticked...

Yeh...

But both would be good...

If you know the Users you want to send the PMs to have got PM Recieving on, then you can send them more easily with a multiple recipient hack...

All my users by have PM's on. What I would like to do is create a list of users.

Since my forums is for my neighborhood, we have the following committee's

Parking
Landscaping
HOA

I would like to let the users send an email or PM directly to the whole committee by just selecting HOA for example.

Exactly...

I will be having Clans on my new website, and I would like to be able to PM or email the entire group all at once!

Same theory, so I guess we're both in the same boat.

Now, if we could find someone to point us in the right direction.

If so, I'll start working on it myself.

Josh
