Hello,
a while back I asaw a hack that lets the admin be the only person who can start a new post in a thread. BUT it et anyone reply to it. I searched for it and can;t find it.

Am i dreaming? or does it exist?

Can't you also do this with access masks?

Ahh Can you? I will have to check it out. . . I don;t think so I want all the fourms to be the same as the default (registered members can start threads and reply) But in a trivia section we have I would like it so only I can post a new thread but regstered users can reply.

go to your forupermissions in your admin cp

then klick on the usergroup you want not to can post new threads in a forum, and in there set "can post new threads" to no ;)
