Random Banner Display[Toplist Addon]
 

This is an addon for the toplist script that was posted by Slynderdale here

This hack/addon will work with any version that the toplist does. In fact it will also work on non vB pages

There's almost no install to it if you already have the above toplist installed. All you do is pick which you want to be displayed(buttons or banners) upload the corresponding .php file to your forums directory, then put the call to it wherever you want it.

I personally cant offer any support for this, but if there is something wrong with it, post it here and I will pass it on to korndragon.

and there is really no need for a demo, as all it does is take the images from the toplist, randomizes the display of them wherever you put the call to it. It also uses the link to the site on the toplist, so if it's clicked on it adds the count to the toplist.

Velocd, this isnt just a script picked off some site, I requested this hack from korndragon himself and he made it for me. I then asked if it was ok with him if i posted it on here, he then said yes. Get the picture?

And my understanding is this is an area for hacks for vB Period. As long as you arent stealing credit and so on, I see nothing wrong with posting a hack here that isnt yours. And Im obviously not stealing credit.

Slynderdale, I just talked to korndragon when i read your post, he has no problem with you implementing it into the next ver of the toplist

Thanks, im gonna make my own and have it built in the toplist scripted itself, but ill give him credit for the idea, in the new version admins can reset sites and set there in's outs and so on to 0 and also im having it so you can put a banner or button on the site and it will record how many views that site has
