Restoring the database from telnet??
I have made a dump.sql file of this forum by telnet, by typing this:
mysqldump --opt --user=myusername --password=mypassword mydatabse > /path/to/my/dump/file/dump.sql It goes fine, but then I try to restore it into a new database named bkjtester, like this: mysql --user=myusername --password=mypassword mynewdatabase < /path/to/my/dump/file/dump.sql The this error comes: ERROR 2006 at line 48: MySQL server has gone away I'am doing this by telnet, since the dump.sql file is about 27 mb. How do I restore this into a new database, please help me out here?? |
For some reason the MySQL server stopped or was being restarted. Have you tried again?
