Just thought I'd post a quick preview of this hack that Im finishing off, it allows you to create ads for specific forums in the board or all forums, i've currently got it working in displaying in forumdisplay.php and showthread.php.
Though I will be considering adding it to all pages.

Features Include:

• Multiple adverts in rotation for a forum
• Adverts placed on categories will appear in forums below it
• Ability to set amount of exposures an advert receives
• Advert can be text, image, or mixed

Looks very good PPN. Will javascript be allowed in the code of the advert (some ad providers use this method)?

Am I right in thinking that it will allow 468x60 banners at the top of the page below the header area?

You can place whatever code you wish within the advert data, it could be images, flash movie, text, both, javascript and it will assign it to a variable $advert which you can use in any template as the variable is given a value in global.php before any of the templates are loaded.

One other question, can you have more than one ad eg a banner at the top and a different one at the bottom of the forum?
