Rainbow Links

1 Attachment(s)
I don't know if I should call this a hack or a simple template edit with one file to upload, so here it goes....first, let me start off that I DID NOT made this, I went back to my old hacking place for wbb (http://www.wbbmods.com) and saw this, so I uploaded and added the bit of colding and it worked, so all craites (spelling, I know) goes out to stRIFe11 from wbbmods.com. now all this does is makes your links go thru. different colors when a mouse is over it.

to install, download rainbow.js.txt and rename it to rainbow.js and upload it to your forums DIR. then add the following to your headinclude template (I put mine before $headnewpm, so you might to put yours there also):

<script type="text/javascript" src="rainbow.js"></script>

that's it.

for a demo, you can go to http://www.simon-soft.com/forums to see it in action

(for admins and mods, if this is in the wrong place, you can move it or delete it, I don't mind)

Does it look normal for non-IE users?

scsa20 05-23-2002 05:16 AM

don't know, I'd love to think so, I'll take a look ;)

I found the answer, yes, if the user is not useing IE, it'll show up as just plain links ;)
