Private message Read/UnRead Indicator
 

After receiving and reading a private message, the unread message indicator to the left of the message changes to reflect that the message has indeed been read, however the indicator on the main board still shows as if an unread message is still in the inbox. This only changes if the message is actually moved or deleted.

I've applied the hack by xiphoid, which allows me to use an animated indicator for the new pm indicator on the main board, so it's really important to my users that after they read a pm that indicator reflect read or unread properly.

Just as the indicator within the pm control panel changes from an unread to a read pm once the message has been read, the external indicator on the board should function the same way.

I would believe that there HAS to be away to relate these two indicators to each other, or apply the same logic to the main board indicator as has been coded for the inner one.
