. . . . .tell me where the [new thread] link on forum home page hack/mod is? everyone i ask ignores me and when i searched for it i got 101 pages. sorry for the inconvenience and thanks in advance.

This is not a hack: Simply edit forum descriptions and enter:
<a href=http://www.site.com/board/newthread.php?s=&forumid=X>[New Thread]</a>

Replace X with relevant forum id..

Or you can use an excellent hack by PPN called vb_last_title which will put the name of the thread above the last post time and date:)
