Problems installing styles...
 

I'm trying to install the Tech-Forums style. I have uploaded all the images via ftp and uploaded the styles file to the admin dir, because vB wont let me upload via admin panel from my desktop gives me an error every time.

Anyways the styles seems to work, but not on my front page. I can assign it to the forum topics but not the main page. What do i need to do to make it look like Tech-Forums page? with the info at top and the style in gerneral.

Right now im looking at a default style front page with the tech-forums style for the topics of my forum. what am i doing wrong and what can i do to fix it?

This is only my 2nd day owning vB so please go easy

Glad you like the style! I worked hard on it. :)

To make it work on the main page in your admin options go to the "STYLES" area. There you will see two styles listed. "Default", and the techforums style.

Click "properties" next to the "Default" style. One inside you will see a drop down box for both templates, and Replacement set. Right now it should say Default. Change them both to the tech forums template set, and replacement set.

Then click save and that should be it. :)

BTW: Do you still design styles/templates for people? If so how much does the average design cost?

Yes I do. But I am not taking on any new work until mid-June. :)
