Member image databases
 

Hey,

I?m just getting into php and SQL databases and I am totally green to the technology. I have a few really newbie questions. Please don?t hate me :-P

I want to make a community based around a member database. It would be similar to a personals database but not in a romantic sense. It?s a search for people looking for friends they met at a party. I want the users to be able to upload a picture of themselves for their profile along with their own Avatar, (2 separate files). When a search is done for the person, I would like their info along with their picture to appear side by side in results. Perhaps it could be something similar to the site below.

And is it possible to have some of the information in a member profile to be hidden until it is unlocked with a password?

Yep, there is already a hack for thatA few small file changes to the hack thats already around should be able to do thatI don't know of any hack like that atm... But once you get a copy of vB, you can make a request for the hack to be made... I woudn't think it would be that hard to make...
