Installing problem on FTP
 
Hey, my board is down atm and I want to install it on a temp host till it's back up. Now I got a friend who supplied me of a 10mbit server (yeah I know, not really much but it's all I have atm) but can't seem to get the install.php working

I uploaded the upload dir to the server ofcourse. But the problem is as it's a personal ftp, I have as path :
ftp://user:password@ip:port/path/admin/install.php

I tried that in my browser but doesn't work, I also tried :
http://user:password@ip:port/path/admin/install.php

and :
ftp://ip:port/path/admin/install.php

and :
http://ip:port/path/admin/install.php

none work..... yet with my ftp client I can login fine........


what's wrong here ?

It's ok prob solved, seems he didn't have apache installed :)
