Hide new thread/post reply buttons?
 
I have been searching for a hack that will hide the new thread and post reply buttons if you are not allowed to post. Has this been done?

I have forums set up for general information about the site that admins can post to but no one else. However, the buttons still show for everyone. I think it would be much cleaner if those buttons did not appear unless you had permission to post.

I found the hack that hides the reply button on a closed thread. Sorry if this already exists, I could not find it.

Anyone?
