Need help with view new topics

I have added a link called active topics so it appears in all pages, so people can see new topics at any time, I used the URL shown when you click on the forum page "view new posts", anyway, after about a week my links die, I have to keep renewing them because they change. Anyone know how to solve this? Which URL should I be using so my active topics link does not have to be renewed all the time? Please help me!

What is the link you put in? Sounds like you are using a search ID.

I was using the same URL for View New Posts, I take it that is wrong? The one that's on the main forum page....

what is all the number there?

I am finding a problem, if I add just get new, then they just show about 12 topics and the others keep getting replaced! Is there a way to get more topics to show? Say the last 100 new topics?
