Avatar uploading problems

i installed that hack not to long ago, the problems are,

1. the option to let users upload avatars in the cp is gone and

2. sometimes they upload and get "not a vail gif or jpg" message

it worked fine before i isntalled it, any ideas, im on 2.2.5

u shoiuld probably talk to the hack maker... did u change anythign else since then?
