Hi,
I wanted to turn off the "show edited by admin", so that when an admin edits a post, it will not leave a "edited by <admin name>" in the post. So I changed that option in the control panel, and it did not work. Only then did I realize that all our admins are also moderators (this stupid auto-generated usergroup for each, you know). Therefore, the showeditedbyadmin does not apply to them. Please, someone with hacking knowledge, please find me a solution in editpost.php that will check if this person is not only and admin, but also if he's a moderator. Or, if there is any other way to make moderators=admins. I would really appreciate help on this. Thanks, Bira |
