Welcome PM

This may be here already, but I haven't had much luck with the search. Is there a way to give a new member to the forum an automatic welcome private message? I thought it would be nice after they register and login for the first time to have something in their in-box. It would also alert them that private messages are a feature they can use.

Just an idea :)
