That is the question!
I hope you can help. I recently took over as admin of a fairly large gaming forum, www.df3.net , since the owner, Morgo, had to 'retire' due to work commitments.

However this site is different. It grew to the point where the owners could no longer support it themselves and we asked members to subscribe to the site. "Premium Members" had access to...

Avatars. Non-Prem members shouldn't be allowed to have avatars. Could we also increase the size of the avatars to 100x100 or so?

Custom titles. Non-Prem should just have Member, Sr. Member or whatever.

Flood timer. Turn on a flood timer for Non-Prem members. Five minutes is too long, IMO. I'd make it three minutes.

A file sharing forum open to Prem Members only.

Images in sigs. With size limits of course. Hell, turn sigs off for Non-Prem members.

Something that makes the Prem member's username standout. Like the glow tag that Ed suggested and maybe a $ sign next to their name.

Email accounts.

Maybe a list of premium members up there with the other little icons that you can click on to see who is a premium member.

Host Squad forums with applicable discount packages for # of members, etc.

So, with all that in mind, is there anybody out there willing to point this in at the deep end guy in the right direction as regards what hack(s) are required to get the site back up and running as it should be, please? :)

Very large hack... :/ I don't think someone will release something like it, it's too personalized and wouldn't be used by many.
