Love the site - BUT----- organize the.....???

Hey all

ther always has to be a but!

i have bene going through the 'templates' section, and find that most of the posts are questions, or request..

I was thinking, would it be a all possible to divde up the templates section

Such as..... (just choose names off the top of my head)

Template Modifications (complete working template changes)
Details - post your working template changes to share etc....

Template requests / help - for people who need help making a change, such as not being able to center buttons :)

Sort of like the hacks area?

this way people don't have to list through a ton of help questions to look for finished template modifications / add-ons.

Just an idea that i think would be good if you gus aren't oo busy.......and think it woud help.

Other then that, i am darn grateful for the help you give!

Thanks for your comments. :)

How about making a Requests forum inside the Template Modifications (as a sub-forum)?

Mathiau 05-03-2002 11:36 PM

yeah!!!

just something to move th 'requests' and that away from the actual mods and changes people have done etc :)

your the amdin for a reason :)

Yeah yeah, sorry about the delay...

Demanding buggers, aren't they? :)

I think you ought to delete the templates forums altogether. Template mods are not hacks and are covered by vBulletin.com. You have your hands full enough. Plus, a great many of the posts involve simple template edits and off-topic requests for help - all which should, IMO, be handled at vbulletin.com.

That's how it originally was, but people wanted Template and GFX forums here as well, so we went ahead and added them.

I know, but not everything "people" want is a good idea.
