sharing templates ?
 

anyone thinking on sharing their templates with us?
uhm may be ur old templates ...

cause its very hard for me and some others here to modify templates..

Templates use basic HTML mostly, they really aren't that hard. I'd share the templates, but I have no idea what you want.

Just ask if you want to do something, and I'll try to help you.

It's HTML, there are a million tutorials on HTML. The only other things you need to know are the commands for things like user title, but they are in the template you are editing, and they are usually self explanitory (i.e., in the postbit template, user title is $post[usertitle])

so let me get this straight, knowing HTML can help you define your template regarding the board design, with the hacks being applied on specific .php files to make things special? :)

Templates are just basic HTML & Variables that call data from a database, nothing more, nothing less. If you do not know HTML well, then it probably will be hard for you to edit them, if that is the case, I would suggest searching on Google for some HTML tutorials to help you learn. Once you learn HTML, you will see how easy it is to modify things (note: HTML and PHP are 2 totally seperate thigns).

however, which options on the admin cp enable someone like me to browse through the templates to modify and so on?

you'll probably see the forum I am on which has enabled me access to this fab place is (pants) and really does need development.
