"new thread" on forums home
does anyone know where this hack is.. the [new thread] link here on vb.org. i searched but i got 130 pages..

add this line to the template forumhome_forumbit_level2_post:
[<a href="newthread.php?s=&forumid=$forum[forumid]">new thread</a>] |

it doesnt work for me.. it shows the new thread but it dont show it next to the forum name..

1. Open the "forumhome_forumbit_level2_post" template.
2. Find "$forum[description]" 3. Add the below next to "$forum[description]": <br>[<a href="newthread.php?s=&forumid=$forum[forumid]">new thread</a>] --------------- The above works just fine for me, I am not sure why you would be having a problem.... - SaintDog |
Worked for me too. Can I make it so that it is aligned all the way to the left instead of being under? I took out the < br > and it appears right after the forum description, but I'd like it so that it is evenly aligned to the left, next to the post count number if possible.
