A custom/different icon for each forum would be nice. Also the ability to have a new posts icon, and a regular icon included in the hack would be cool.
For example, say for my darth sith lords forum i would use a dark sidius icon for when there are no new posts, and a light up darth maul icon when there are new posts. -Eugene |
Take a look at the forums page, there are no custom icons, just a yellow V button for forums with new posts, and a grey V button for no new posts (In case you had no idea what i was talking about). How dull. Custom icons for each forums would be much better! Rangersfan? Ed?

(Unrelated: WTF? Why won't IE let me submit the edit thread form? Anyone?)
First off, drop the request. Second, there's no need for a hack. In the forumbit template, find $onoff and change to $onoff$forumid And just name your images on1.gif, off1.gif, on2.gif, off2.gif, etc. |
I suggested the above be tried in the in Questions forum as well...
I guess templates scare people with their awesome power and simplicity. I personally love them. I like the fact that I can create a new template and add a new action to index.php and voila a whole new page for building the community with. |
