Vb and Time?
I cant seem to figure it out.. Now I am not to sure but how is time based on VB.
Lets say I set the site time to GMT 0 and then set my time to Pacific Time -8.00 Now I would suspect I would get the local time on my computer.... nope I get some odd number that isnt even close to the time here. Now if it set the site time to Eastern Time -5.00 and have mine set to -8.00 then it is the correct time.... I am having a hard time figuring this out O_O |
hmm...I think it sends pings to the server location and back to pick up the time and display's it...but I don't know, I'm just guessing here

neo,
The time zone you set in your Admin CP needs to match the time zone of the server that your vB is running on. If it doesn't, then you won't get the correct time. |
Could also be that your server's time is screwed.
From shell, type "date" to check. That'll also give you the time zone your server's clock is set to. |
Thanks everyone. I got it now :)

All times are GMT. The time now is 12:09 PM. |
