Attack Of The \'s!
 

WTF, all my templates constantly get \'s inserted in them everywhere. Every time I edit one it inserts them somewhere... And then over and over again they appear in the same place so eventually I have something like '\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Hi' and it keeps causing errors in the page. Or sometimes it'll have /n so it'll be '/n/n/nNo.' What is causing this? Do you think it's that advanced template editor hack thing?

I have exactly the same problem, eatch time you make an edit and save I get an extra \ appear. I also have the advanced template editor installed, perhaps it is to do with that, I hadn't thought of that.

Hmmm.... I see. It probably is that then. I forget, does vBHacker have an option to do the exact opposite of what was put into it to make a uninstall?

Unfortunatly not, you have to manually remove all the added code which is a shame. Looks like I will have to uninstall this hack to :(

Bah.... Oh well.... I never actually used any of its functions... it was mostly just there to look pretty. :D

Well, I used to have this problem a lot, too. There is a thing in your PHP configs that is called magic_quotes. Even thogh there is code in the vB to turn them off, it doesn't really turn it all off. You have to change that in your PHP config file, or ask your host to turn them off if you don't have access to them.
