If peeps don't help you straight off, it might be because we don't have time or interest to do the research required.

Personally, if I see a request that I don't know the answer for right away or that I would not consider interesting for my own site, I often don't even bother to look further.

Getting help here is a privilege, not a right. If you don't get the answers you are looking for, too bad. If you do get them good for you. Don't go whining like this. It's just lame. (and no, I didn't even look at the threads/posts you linked now - just because of the nature of the post and poll...

lol, damn, I didn't knew anyone would actuly reply here :eek: I knew that aread, but sometimes I just get a little unpatant (spelling, I know)...don't you see??

This post isn't directed at anyone in particular. Just my thoughts on the subject.
Too true. And when it's obvious that there has been no research on their part, motivation drops as well. The whole "Can you do my homework?" high school attitude is a real turn off.

If I can tell that the person has made an effort at solving the problem and is stuck, I'll spend the time to help them out. Heck, I've spent 3+ hours in a day debuging code for people who I know are giving a good effort and really want to learn.
