Need Help ASAP..
 

It's a long, dramatic story, but what it comes down to is I need help setting up my Vbulletin ASAP. Our old one with 4,000 members was deleted along with all the posts and graphics. Fortunately, I have all the styles, but I need help setting it up from scratch..

If you're interested and have some time within the next day or so, PLEASE let me know ASAP. My site launches again in 2 days and Mr Lister who was helping us, had a family emergency..

did you made a back up of your db?? if so, just copy the part about the Users and the profiles/avatars info and run it to get them all back.

with a backup, it should take you max 30min to do it. what exacly you need help with? installing hacks? this you can do it after at your own pace, once the board is up and running. if time is pressing you, install the basic VB, add your database and after, slowly slowly customize everything.

No, no. At this point I'm not worried about installing hacks, I just need to install the basic, current VB..

just tell everyone to re-register...I don't think they well mind...just tell them that something went wrong during the upgrade and need them to re-register ;)

Yeah I know that I have no other choice but to do that, the problem is..

I don't know how to install/set up the Vbulletin. That's what I need help doing. I'm not concerned about hacks, I need help setting the board up. All I have is the styles I saved and the license..

Our old web designer deleted everything and I don't know how to do it myself. That's why I'm here..

Unzip your vbulletin2xx.zip file and upload everything from the upload folder to your website with an ftp program.

Point your webbrowser to www.yoursite.com/forum/admin/install.php and follow the instructions carefully. www.yoursite.com/forum being the palce you uploaded the forum to.

And if you are not sure if your webmaster deleted the database, you can check that after you uploaded the forums and then visiting your forum, if it shows anything resembling your old forum you don't have to run install.php but you should delete that single file.
