Post limiting on certain forums (by days)

Hello,

I have a great hack idea: Limiting the number of posts per member per certain number of days. For example, if someone were to make a offers forum, to limit them 1 post per 5 days. What does everyone think? I'd appreciate some feedback, thanks.

This has been done before...

Search in The Full Release Forum for :

"Post Count"

Look for a Topic with something like :

"XX Posts in XX Days" or something similar...

Would someone else like to confirm, to thier knowledge if this hack has been done before? I would really appreciate anyone's help with this, this type of hack would be quite valuable on some boards (including mine), thanks everyone.
