Because I am integrated with PhotoPost and want to charge users for expanded storage space for their photos and PhotoPost looks at the VB user lever to determine how much space they can use. What I need is this: Have the regular vb user levels like I have now based only on number of posts, but with the ability to jack someone's level to an "elite" level that once put at the level would stay there regardless of the number of posts. This can't be hard but I just don't know where to look for this code.

Why not create a new usergroup, and just have the script look at their usergroup id -- if it matches the 'elite' group, then it allows them a larger quota?
