like under you name on this board... i searched all over the hacks sections and natta!

This is already built into vBulletin, the template was simply changed and re-located.

The templates are
postbit_online
postbit_offline

and then you just move the position of $onlinestatus within the postbit template.

im a bit confused... it out $onlinestatus in my posbits but it doesnt show any thing

By default it shows on.gif and off.gif. You need to edit postbit_online and postbit_offline if you want to change that.

in Postbit Templates - postbit add $onlinestatus above Registerd .. if that's where you want it.
Save that, then go to the postbit_online and replace the text there with something like this ..

Code:

<div align="absmiddle">$post[username] is online now</div>

That should give you a "the username" is online .. if that user is online .. just above the registerd date.

Do the same with postbit_offline - remember to edit the text to say offline.

Correct me if I'm wrong :)

i'm having problems, it's showing the on/off.gif, but i want it to show in text "online" or "offline" and i tried changing the postbit-online and postbit_offline and it had no affect. Where do i go to change it from showing an image to saying "offline or online"?
