"my posts" hack
 

Just wondering if there are any available hacks to allow a user to view threads that he/she has already responded to so that they can check for new responses to only those. This may be an option in vBulletin or there may be a hack available - if so I apologize, I purchased vBulletin less than a week ago and haven't had time to take a look at everything just yet.

I dont think you need a hack for this. You have 2 options:

1- You can subscribe a thread (whether you reply it or not) and by default you subscribe all threads you replied and in your user cp you can list all your subscribed threads for fast access

2- You can search your username in the search page and you'll get all the messages you replied.

How can you make all threads you start or reply to automatically become subscribed without the pain of doing it manually?

You don't have to do it manually, once you make a reply in a thread it automatically subscribes you. "default."
