"Branding" user uploaded pictures
 

I've heard something about the gd library not being able to do gifs or something like that due to copyright infringement, but would this be possible to do? Even if it excluded gif format (you could put a warning about it not working with gifs).

Picture this: A member goes to post a new thread or a reply and under the "Upload file" table there is an option to "brand" the member's user name on the picture. This would be a great tool against thieves and people who try to steal the picture.

I know this would be a most valuable hack for a lot of users out there :)
