i pruned my forums before saving a backup. i did not know that when i updated counters later it would remove my posts? my post count went down a few thousand. i have been swamped with emails asking whats going on etc.

is there anyway i could add these back to the totals, i tried in index.php and failed. it must be pull from somewhere else first? please help... i am proud of how many posts my board has and it upsets me to see the number drop.

i tried this:

$totalposts=$countposts['posts']+3,000;
if ($totalposts=='') {
$totalposts=0;
}
$countthreads=$DB_site->query_first('SELECT COUNT(*) AS threads FROM thread');
$totalthreads=$countthreads['threads']+500;
if ($totalthreads=='') {
$totalthreads=0;
}

but it didnt work. what else can i try?
