im looking for a hack that

when a new user registers on the board and completes registration - the forum will auto create a post in a forum by forum id number, say " welcome $username to the forum

and then in turn the members can reply and wlecome that member, I think I saw a hack like that around here, but I can find it any more, can anyone help me out with this hack for vb 2.2.5

I've always hated newb threads, but if you want it, then you can have it. I'm not sure where it is though.

This might get annoying after a while, especially if your board is going to get many new members.
