hmmm this should be simple but im confused
 

when posting a new topic you get to type the subject you want.... well i was thinking... would there be a way to add a box next to the subject box were you can type stuff also and then when posting it would display on the forum page

for example you would have

Subject: [subject box here] Extra Info: [Extra spot here]

and when looking on the forum page would show

Subject [Extra Info]

Yeah, it's possible...but they can just type the whole thing in the Subject box really.

i know but i would really like it to be a seperate box.... please can someone make this up real quick? it probly just has to do all with templates

You cant make it with template changes this requires hacking.

Because you need to add a new column to the relevant table of your database and write/read extra info data from there while posting/displaying/moderating a new thread.
