c-prompt's forum controversial issue?
 

ok.. you know i like to snoop arround people's forums.. just to see how they do things and compare their graphic talent. i saw once c-prompt's forums and i got impressed about his photoshop skills... however i saw this today:

the owner of this forum pretends to be creator of this package.
there is only one way to prove it, the photoshop files. any artist will keep those files. so here it is my question:

c-prompt, who lies, you or him? leyt me know, i'm curious.
please do not take wrong this thread. i'm only curious. i dont acuse you of ripping.

Well, the board was online at April 6, YESTERDAY. So how the hell can c-prompt have those images on his site for along time ;)

that's my question to. the guy pretends to make them all. i'm not saying c-prompt is at fault. i say that the other guy stated he made all those graphs.

The site is now "down for retooling" LOL... meaning he knows he was busted.

Ok. Let me explain. The Bonejangler is a member of C's forums and has created an awesome site www.banishedfaith.com and I doubt he would rip C's graphics but if he did he did and I am sure C spoke with him about it. So many people take C's stuff its not even funny.

Ok, originally his first version of this style was a copy of the old version of yaxay. The simple version. I said at vb.com that I didnt mind that one as it was very basic. Then however, I made all the new changes to yaxay with the funky category bars, and so on. Then I noticed he was offering a version 2 of this style. Which all he did was copy all the new things I added. At this point I was furious! I emailed him and he proceeded to tell me off saying I shouldnt have brought attention to him copying me cause now hes doing it just to make me mad.

He has no respect, and I have none for him. I requested him remove it and he didn't. He just now removed it because he see's posts like this.

I thank you guys for noticing. Its really annoying to be copied so blatantly. I have no problem with influencing people. But a direct copy is just sad. Especially to then offer it to download for free.

What really pisses me off is that he then proceeds to put down yaxays design saying anyone can do it, blah blah. But if its so lame and bad why did he need to copy it? Get a life and some originality.

btw from a legal view, i know its illegal to steal images and say they are my own, but if i would edit 1 pixel of the image then would it technicly become my own work?
