Post the difference...
 

I think it would be a great idea if the admins/mods would make and stick a thread explaining the specific difference between vB hacks and vB template modifications. There have been alot of posts with custom javascripts, template modifications, and vB codes posted in the Full Release forum and I just think it would make more sense to clarify rather than to just move the posts as they happen.

We do our best and also posted an announcement in the Full Releases forum, but alas -- looks like no one really reads those.
Moving the threads over as they pop is currently the best solution. Maybe if we start moderating the hacks it will completely solve the problem.

I would support you guys moderating the hacks. The Full Releases forum has more than its share of duplicate, useless, and rough-draft-quality hacks to offer. I'm afraid moderating them may be the only way to separate the wheat from the chaff.

(And I was guilty of posting junk at least once, too, when I started out.)

Yes firefly please moderate the posts in the full release forum. Ive seen many duplicate hacks or even just translated ones being posted there on new threads.
