[vbhacker] Move Threads by Subject

I was moving some threads and wanted to be able to move all the threads with the word trivia in the subject. We don't have any tool to do that so I threw one together. here's a vbhacker file to do it. only one edit.

after you install the have, there will be a new table on the move thread page. instead of searching for thread by username or date, this one will let you enter a search term and check the thread subjects for that term.

Looks like I'll have need of this, thanks!

I added move features and renamed it "Advanced Move and Prune"

This already had a search by subject form to mass move threads so I added one for mass pruning threads as well. While I was at it I added a prune threads by maximum number of replies. Will be useful for deleting threads with no replies.

this hack.php file has everything in the first file plus the new features. If you already installed the first one you I'm not sure how you'll install it. you might have to do it manually but it's only 2 substitutions to thread.php.

any other prune / move options needed? I'd like to add as many options for making housekeeping easier.

I would love it if the ability to search by 0 replies could be combined with finding threads older than a given date.

For example, prune all threads with x replies that are older than y days.

I was thinking about trying to combine all 3 searches into one big search. I'll see what I can do.

I need to move a large number of threads into new subforums on my site, and I think this thread would do the trick. Unfortunately, my host only allows me to run PHP3 -- which isn't compatible with vbhacker (from what I've read so far). Could someone PM me the text instructions needed to implement this hack, or is there another alternative?

Thanks for your help in advance,
tester2 :)

For all those people who want the text version see the attached file :D

Note, I take no credit for this, I just used vBhacker to gernerate the text file ;)
